Wild Thing

Dress:En Focus. Blazer: Torrid Boots: Lane Bryant Leggings: Torrid

I look so gross in that pic above. lol. My daughter did something to that affect while ha ha haing, and told me to do it when she takes the pic. Funny, she looks so much cuter doing it that I do!
These reptile print leggings were not what I expected when I received them. I could probably go down a size in them, but never the less, they are SUPER loose on the calf area, as well as really long too. Another thing, when I ordered them online, they looked to be matte black with a shiny black to make the reptile look, but in person it's black with Silver. They are super pretty, but not as understated as I thought they would be. I really like this dress too, it's well flattering overall, everything except the material that's kind of a stretchy polyester. I hate that companies feel the need to make so many plus size clothes in it. Either way, this specific dress I was willing to make an exception for.

There's nothing super special about this outfit, but I think it was cute and comfortable. I sat in class all day today, and I am dead beat! Today was odd, it was raining when I left my house, but when I finally got out of class at 3:00 it was super hot, needless to say I couldn't wait to get home to change into something cooler, but by the time I got home it cooled off really quickly.

Pants: Source of Wisdom-Torrid
Boots: Lane Bryant Similar Here
Outer pleated shirt and black tank underneath: Walmart
Earrings: Walmart
Bracelet: Alley Cat

These pictures are so bad, between the rain and bright light I don't think they could of been much worse. Anyways, these boots are awesome. They are wide width both foot and heel and super comfortable, I would highly recommend investing in a pair.

I know a lot of people don't like Walmart, I however, do not care. If I like something I will buy it regardless. Most of the time I do not like Walmart clothing, especially the plus size. It always seems to take on a sort of frumpy, old woman look. Every once in awhile I am surprised and find something (besides basics like tanks and whatnot) that I thinks cute. This brown lace print shirt was one of them.

MIRAGE

Today was kind of a hectic day, I went to school-which is on a military base-and discovered that my base pass had not been issued long enough, fortunately the guard let me on anyways. After class I had to get a new one and the visitor's center was CRAZY packed, apparently there is an airshow that will be going on, so all kinds of other civilians were trying to get passes to attend that. I hate going to the visitor's center, it kinda like going the the department of licensing, yeah that horrendous. What makes it even worse is the fact that I have to go there every two months, at least the DOL I only have to do every 5 years. Anyways here's what I wore.

Dress: Old Navy
Blazer: Torrid
Shoes: I don't know the brand, but I purchased them at JCPenny
Bracelet: Icing
Earrings: Old Navy

Unfortunately this pictures are super bad, these were a mix between my daughter trying to take them and attempting to balance them on random object. lol, oh well, you do what you gotta do!

My Bug was excited to see me when I got home. My camera has a cropping feature which I have consistently used, however you loose some of the quality of the photo. I do have a Photoshop program that I can crop better on, and not loose quality. I don't know why I keep doing it on my camera.  I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. I will not...class till Sunday, 2 exams and a final paper are all going to be due.

Minty Fresh

I found this mint dress with a black lace overlay for under $15 at Ross and was pretty excited about it. I am not too excited about the length however, I think it's a little short for my taste. But I still couldn't pass it up for that.

The Shoes came from Ross too. What I really like about these flats is that they are bright, but at the same time can go with all kinds of things.

Anyways, till next time

A Quickie-rocker chic

Just a quick posting, nothing super special. I was running errands today, and just decided to snap a few outfit pictures.

I have no idea who this fedora is by or what stores sell it, I bought it at a fair. I liked it though. The earrings are from Charlotte Russe and the necklace is Old Navy. Wearing this necklace with that shirt was a huge mistake. The chain of the necklace kept catching and snagging the lace, I hate when that happens.

The lace shirt is from Kmart, the tank underneath is Sears, and the booties are Mossimo from Target. They are pretty cool though, you can fold the top of them up to make them calf length boots, or have them folded down like in the pic.

This is one of my favorite pics ever! Just saying...

Happy Fourth...Even though it's a day late

I had a fabulous fourth of July, and hope everyone else did too. My daughter, brother, and I went to the local military base to celebrate. They put on this big carnival sort of thing with all sorts of rides, foods, vendors, etc. and then at the end of the night is concluded with a 21 gun salute done with cannons, a military band performance and finally the fireworks show.I wanted to publish this yesterday but was so exhausted by the time I got home last night that my daughter and I pretty much just passed out and didn't even light off our own fireworks! So that's what we will be doing today.

I absolutely LOVE this dress. It's super comfortable and the colors are so bright and vibrant. Once again I love it. I got it at target. It is actually a high low dress. The jacket thing (I have no idea what this would be called) I believe I got at Ross.

The shoes are from Payless, super cute, but super uncomfortable. I will still wear them of course because the colors are absolutely beautiful, but I need to find some type of padding for them.

My daughter took this pic, and I think it's pretty good, especially considering the fact that she's 3. I was rather pleased with it.

I only posted this picture since you can actually see in this one that it is a high low dress.
On another side note, we finally have started getting some nice weather. Lately it's been raining, and dreary (even on days that it felt a little warm) making it unenjoyable to do anything outside, but we are apparently going to finally start looking like summer. YEAH!
