Leopard Jumpsuit

Welcome back to Marvelous Monday. Our philosophy: Monday is nobody's favorite day of the week, but maybe its terrible reputation is a little undeserved. We're on a mission to make ours (and hopefully yours) a little less awful by dressing Marvelously!

This weeks theme is something that you have trouble styling.

I chose this leopard jumpsuit. Now this isn't something that I have trouble styling, as much as I have trouble WEARING. I bought this as an impulse buy at Ross one day; I was up at checkout with everything else I had already tried on and seen this hanging on a rack in my size so I snatched it up real quick. This was without really thinking "is this something I will actually wear." I have worn it a lot, but only at home, not quite brave enough to wear in public. This is how I decided it would be acceptable for an outing though:

Shirt: LYS. Shoes: Privileged. Jumpsuit: Ross. Necklace: Hustler Hollywood.

I can't believe I'm posting this, but this is what it looks like without anything over it.

  1. Oh my gosh, you look FIERCE in that jumpsuit! You should totally give it a go when you're feeling brave enough! It looks wonderful. I love how you've dialed it down for a more casual look with the sheer top, also.

    1. Thanks, I don't think I will ever get to the point of feeling comfortable to wear it by itself in public-unless I lost half of my stomach!

  3. I love the leopard print and the fit/shape of the legs of the jumpsuit. Personally, I would wear it with a blazer over the jumpsuit. Your shoes are seriously awesome!! :-)

    1. Thanks. I did think about a blazer, however, my issue is my lower stomach and I do not have any blazers that are long enough to cover it how I would want. Maybe it's time for me to invest in a boyfriend blazer...

  4. I love it without the top covering it. You don't realize how seriously cute you look in that.

  5. It looks fantastic! I love that you paired it with that pretty top. It makes me think of a fancy sweatshirt, and I really like that. But the jumpsuit itself looks amazing on you!

    1. Thanks. I never thought about this one as looking like a sweatshirt, but now that you mention it, it does have that sort of shape.

  6. You look great in the jumpsuit, I think you look great both ways. But I like how you styled it with the sheer top over because you can still see the print peeking out through the top. Those shoes are great too!

  9. Wow, I love the jumpsuit on you. Personally I think you look amazing in it without the jumper, but I get that you might be uncomfortable with it styled that way. Its a nice piece though, they're so many things you can put over the top of it. :)
